FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS
All commercial and industrial buildings require a fire risk assessment by law to reduce the risk to people and property in the event of a fire. There are severe penalties for non-compliance, and are reviewed periodically.
FIRE ALARM TESTING & MAINTENANCE
Fire alarm systems should be regularly tested to ensure that they safeguard persons within the premises. British Standards recommends that this should be done weekly or as determined by the fire risk assessment. EMERGENCY LIGHT TESTING & MAINTENANCE
We service your emergency lighting units over a twelve-month period, usually carried out in one or two visits. Our engineers are experienced in both maintaining emergency lights and fire safety, so you can be confident all your equipment is maintained to the relevant British Standard.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER MAINTENANCE
We are able to maintain the all extinguisher units in your area of responsibility during one annual service visit. As with all Rosewater maintenance routines, we provide experienced specialist engineers on a nationwide basis.
SPRINKLER SYSTEM TESTING
Rosewater’s Sprinkler System Testing service helps to fulfil your insurance requirements by identifying any possible impediments to the sprinkler system and ensuring its proper functioning in the event of a fire. Our experienced testers would examine the activation pressures of your sprinkler system, alarm and pumps to check for any faults.
FIRE SAFETY CONSULTANCY
Our fire safety consultants can provide professional assistance on any fire safety issues, requirements or recommendations. This may be required when reviewing your policies or procedures, following your fire risk assessment, upon receiving an enforcement notice, or when you encounter any fire safety issues.
EMERGENCY PLANS
Putting together an emergency plan generally involves a building inspection and evaluation, usually with reference to the fire risk assessment. The plan will need to be reviewed regularly and following any significant changes in building structure, occupancy or processes.
FIRE EVACUATION DRILLS
We support both tenants and building managers in helping practice a smooth, well-organised evacuation which tests the emergency plan and makes sure building occupants are prepared in a fire emergency. We understand that fire drills can be disruptive with the potential to inconvenience some tenants, which is why we schedule with their needs in mind.
